Wilson Turner (panelist) is a current graduate student at Stanford University and Astronaut Scholar alumnus dedicated to making human life multiplanetary. He previously worked at SpaceX building launch pad components, systems and architecture to support Liquid Oxygen (LOX) and Liquid Methane (LCH4) propellants for Starship. He was named an Astronaut Scholar by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation in 2022 while attending the University of Chicago, where he studied chemistry and molecular engineering, with a specialization in polymeric/soft materials engineering. Wilson currently works on designing new polymeric and soft materials for use in soft robotics, aerospace engineering, and human health.
