Tony LaRosa

Founder, Managing Director, Secretary, Lobbyist, Interplanetary Chamber of Commerce

Tony LaRosa is the Founder, Managing Director, Secretary, and Lobbyist for the Interplanetary Chamber of Commerce 501c6, focusing on a sustainable economy in space by creating a democratic organization that advocates for businesses venturing into space, by fostering a sustainable space economy worldwide. 


As the Secretary and Founder of the Interplanetary Chamber of Commerce, Tony wrote all of the bylaws, internal documentation, marketing materials, website content, and legal paperwork for the organization, along with standard Secretariat roles for monthly webinars and weekly meetings with customers around the world. 


As the lobbyist for the Interplanetary Chamber of Commerce, he has connections in Washington, D.C. on and off the Hill, and advocates for the growth of commercial space companies globally, lobbying wherever his clients are, currently including Australia. 


With over 10 years of experience working for the federal government, he has worked in high-stress, fast-paced environments such as being an Air Traffic Controller for some of the United State’s most complex airspace. He is also a Program Manager for technical training within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), creating and maintaining policies that lay the legal groundwork for training within the FAA and is at the forefront of creating policies and guidance for universities to produce Air Traffic Controllers. 


Tony also serves on multiple boards in various roles in his local town in Virginia and has become the go-to campaign advisor for local politicians. He is also on the board as the COO for Rosewill Conservation 501c3, working towards conservation and economic reform with large corporations both benefiting Earth and Space. 


With a bachelor's degree in Airport Operations and Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master’s in Space Policy from American Military University, Tony served in leadership roles in multiple clubs and organizations, including Chair of the local AIAA chapter, VP for the Eagle Sport Aviation Club, Captain of the Novice Rowing team, and more.
