Dr. Monty Greer is The Aerospace Corporation’s Government Caucus Facilitator and Steering Committee Secretary for COSMIC.  Monty has been with Aerospace since 2017 where he has held a number of positions in Technical Intelligence, System of Systems Engineering, and S&T investment planning for the USSF’s Force Design Process.

Prior to joining Aerospace, Monty retired as a Colonel in the USAF where his career spanned 33 years of service beginning as an aircraft structures technician on the SR71 and U2/TR1, GPS satellite operations engineer, USAFA faculty member, C-17 flight test program manager and engineer, Space Domain Awareness research and operations site commander, Deputy to the Air Force Chief Scientist and culminating as the Director of Operations for the NATO S&T Organization.  In addition, he deployed twice to Afghanistan and once to Iraq.
