Lexie Weikert is a Business Development Manager for National Security programs at Astroscale U.S.’s Washington DC office. She leads engagements with U.S. Government customers, focusing on the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community 
Before Astroscale, Lexie worked at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency as an orbital scientist in the GNSS Division while performing program management functions on Monitoring Station Agreements with international partners and NGA’s transition to the Next Generation Operational Control Segment (OCX) ground system. Prior to her work at the NGA, Lexie was a Strategy Associate at Velos where she focused on federal budget analysis and business development activities for a variety of clients in the space industry. In this role, she also served as the Director of Operations at the National Security Space Association (NSSA) to promote the use of space under Title 10 and Title 50 and shaped their workforce development efforts with the United States Space Force and Intelligence Community. 
Lexie holds a B.S. in Astronomy & Astrophysics with a minor in History from the George Washington University. While in attendance, she researched radio transients and machine learning identification methods in the Remote Sensing Division of the Naval Research Laboratory.
