Kelley Jones-McDowall
Kelley Jones-McDowall is the Launch Services Program Fleet Field Offices Branch Chief at NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida. In this position, Ms. Jones-McDowall's team overlooks all launch vehicle providers locations to ensure best industry practices are being performed across the fleet and that the hardware assigned to NASA missions is built appropriately.
Graduated Fall 2012 from Purdue University with a BS in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering and a minor in Dance. Started with NASA as a summer intern at KSC Summer 2008, Co-op spring 2009-2012, and Full time since beginning of 2013. Started full time in the KSC Fluids System Design Group and then joined at the end of 2013 the Launch Services Program Propulsion Group working second stage propulsion systems for the SpaceX Falcon vehicle. Moved over to the LSP Vehicle Systems Engineering Branch in 2017. Became the Falcon Fleet lead in 2019 and then senior technical expert in 2022. Then current position earlier this year.
Mother of three (twin 9 year olds and a 3 year old) with three fur babies (one dog and two cats). Favorite out of work activities include: hiking, biking, dance, and rugby.
