Jack Deasy joined Astroscale U.S. in December 2022 as Vice President, Business Development and Advanced Systems.
Previously, Jack held product management and sales leadership positions at SES, the leading multi-orbit satellite operator. At SES, he oversaw product development for government-facing commercial solutions on the innovative O3b mPOWER satellites and led global government sales activities. Jack joined SES after the O3b Networks, acquisition, where he also led government sales. Prior to O3b, Jack was a sales manager at Inmarsat, responsible for civilian government and disaster response segments.

Jack transitioned to the private sector after a twenty-year government career with the U.S. State Department and Federal Communications Commission. As a Foreign Service Officer, he served at U.S. Embassies in Chile, Colombia, and the United Kingdom.

A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, Jack has done graduate studies in Geographic Information Systems at Pennsylvania State University and the University of North Carolina – Greensboro and serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Homeland Security graduate program at San Diego State University.
