Denise Pham

Chief, Fleet and Systems Management Division, NASA Kennedy Space Center

Denise Pham is chief of the Fleet and Systems Management Division within the Launch Services Program (LSP) at NASA’s John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Pham is responsible for technical management of LSP’s launch vehicle fleets and missions. Under her leadership, her division manages launch vehicle certification strategy and provides insight and approval for mission integration, launch vehicle production, launch site integration, launch campaigns and launch. She ensures overall mission success through performing independent NASA assessment of mission requirements and launch vehicle readiness. Pham also oversees the NASA LSP Resident Offices, located at various commercial launch providers’ design centers, production facilities, and launch sites. 

She has been influential in implementing many systems engineering best practices and cross-cutting processes to enable NASA technical excellence. Pham was instrumental in support of Commercial Crew Program missions and contributory to NASA’s human spaceflight including the successful Demo-2 Mission that launched American astronauts on an American rocket from American soil in 2020. She continues to provide exceptional leadership in promoting collaboration between the Launch Services Program and other Government agencies to benefit NASA programs, civil and military space operations and enable commercial launch industry.
