Buffy Wajvoda is an experienced leader and advocate in the tech industry with a history of working in public cloud, aerospace/satellite, financial, US Gov't, and technical service industries. She currently is the AWS General Manager: Classified Cloud for National Security and Defense. Her expertise includes cyber security, big data, statistical data analysis, cloud computing, and inclusive leadership. Prior to AWS, she spent 3 years at Capital One as Director of Solutions Engineering and Architecture and 15 years with the National Security Agency with a focus on cryptanalysis, radio frequency (RF) analysis, and engineering for satellite and high bandwidth communications ending as the Technical Director for Field Operations.
